People with the mass update permissions need the ability to run an Advanced Search and with the results be able to update any fields that they might have to change. An example would be searching for a phone number that could be listed on hundreds of entries spanning mutiple providers that all use the same billing service and now have changed to a new sevice and the number needs to up updated across all these providers.
Yes there are no mass update options for providers or calendar entries. We would love to have the great mass update options available on cases in advanced search also be made available for providers and calendar items. Or really anything that I can see in advanced search I want the ability to tag several items and change some fields with mass update for data cleanup purposes.
