Option to Retain Payment Information when a check request is deleted

We would like to take advantage of the check request functionality in Neos without using an accounting interface. When we have processed the check request, we would like to be able to delete the check request without the payment being deleted in the value entry. Perhaps an option to only remove the Open Request and keep the transaction information would be helpful.
