Neos - Merge Template Creation for Lists

When I am tagging a list to a merge template, I would like the ability to create column headers, as well as perform calculations at the bottom of the table (such as totals or sums for the columns).

In its current state, the list features doesn't serve much benefit.

Also, the ability to select date format for any date columns in the List.
