PDFs have become a huge part of law firm workflow. Not just reading and printing, but editing them (i.e. bates numbering, redacting, etc.). There are many other PDFs editors on the market beyond Acrobat, and since Neos forces us to use Sharepoint as our document management system rather than allowing us to use a true DMS it's incumbent upon Assembly to make it compatible with our chosen PDF program for integration purposes.
If SharePoint can't work with your PDF program of choice, then at least make the Neos PDF Editor able to replace every important aspect of a PDF program like Adobe like bates stamps and digital exhibit stickers. The Neos OCR/PDF Editor does do OCRing and redacting, but does NOT do bates stamps or digital exhibit stickers.
