Share/send neos-linked document to a pre-existing e-mail thread.

The only way to share a document on Neos is to start an entirely new e-mail chain. I need to be able to share a document with an already existing e-mail chain. I don't want to send a copy of the document--I want the actual document that is linked to Neos so that, should someone on the email thread make edits, those are incorporated into the document that is saved in Neos. This is something I do all the time, and now I have no way to do that. Or, if there is a way to do it, it does not seem to be intuitive enough and/or requires to many steps.
