We were using eDOCS before and our firm utilized unique document numbers on each file that would be referenced for quick searching. We really want this back and I think all that would need to be done is have code set that keeps track of a number increment based on possibly a setting to start the document numbering too, so if I put in 12878 there it will start at 12879 and all new documents will get one number higher than the previous document. This setting could just append this number to the name when imported if it cant be a field in general right now. It could even append the Case Type code before/after the number too for more sorting.
