Right now you can only send a text message to a party in a case. We want to be able to text back and forth with other contacts like witnesses who are not parties.
Right now it is confusing because in the clickable contacts list I can select the cell phone number next to a witness's name, click "Send a Text message", compose a message, and only then do I realize I cannot send the text.
This would be great. There are times that I need to text a witness or expert and I can but I can't get them to do so through the case file. It would be nice to switch between parties in the file to send text messages.
agree 100,000%; and provide group texting; it is nonsense to have to send 3 identical texts to each of 3 people; gets damned confusing on replies; no one is in on the thread; imagine being able to make phone calls but no conference calling....???
