Timer with start time and end time

Currently timer stops if the page is not active. Opening a new tab creates loss of time on the timer and having to calculate missing time for billing. Having a start time and end time input feature (ex 10am-11:12am) would clear up timer issues when it stops running during a case switch or opening another window.
