Option to expand checklist description under "checklist detail"

Is there any way that an "expand" or "edit" option can be added, so we can easily read or edit the checklist description?

Currently, some checklist descriptions are too long, that when the details are opened, the description is cut off. Because the name is set up to run horizontally, it is incredibly difficult when trying to fully read or edit an item description. Additionally, editing the checklist item under the main view is still flawed.
